Miller, 76, of Sunny Drive, Greensburg RD 5, formerly of Hollsopple RD, died Sept. 6, 1999, at home. Born June 20, 1923, in Jenner Township, son of Howard P. and Sarah J. (Baer) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, an infant sister, brothers Omar and Clyde and infant granddaughter Stefanie George. Survived by wife, the former Emma Lint; daughters Virginia "Ginny," wife of Daniel Parker, New Stanton, and Gail, wife of David George, of Edmond, Okla.; grandchildren Aaron and Rachael Parker and Valerie George; and brothers Richard of Hollsopple RD, and Alton of Webster, N.Y. A member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ligonier, and Greensburg Lodge #511, B.P.O.E. Graduate of the former Boswell High School. Retired furniture salesman, having worked for the former Gee Bee Furniture Store Greensburg, for many years. Observed 49th wedding anniversary on April 8, 1999. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Kevin R. Haley officiating.
