Miller, 81, Somerset, died Jan. 4, 1989, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born June 23, 1907, in Fort Hill, son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kreger) Miller. Survived by his wife, Kathryn (Weimer) Sembower Miller, Somerset; also one niece, Lois Kunkel, Irwin; and one nephew, George E. Miller, Rockwood RD 2. Preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy, in October 1979; also by a sister, Carrie. His death terminates a marriage union of eight years. Retired from the Western Maryland Railroad, where he was employed as a foreman for 42 years. Director of the Laurel Ridge Sportsmen Club. Member of: Rockwood Church of the Brethren, A.A.R.P., Casselman Watershed Association and Rockwood Senior Citizens. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, Thursday 7-9 p.m., Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Saturday until 1 p.m., when the remains will be removed to the Rockwood Church of the Brethren for service at 2 p.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Jay Christner officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in his name to the Rockwood Church of the Brethren.
