Miller, 60, R.D. 48, Elizabeth, Pa., died at his home Sunday, March 14. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Miller, deceased, and was born in Somerset, Aug. 31, 1882. He was a resident of the Elizabeth district for 26 years. He was employed as a tool maker by the Aluminum Co. of America, New Kensington, and was a member of the New Kensington Reformed Church. He is survived by his wife, Savana C. Folk Miller, and these children: Bayard, Elizabeth Township; Clifford, Forward Township; Paul, Camp Bowie, Texas; Lewis, Elizabeth Township; Ruth, Irwin, Pa.; Merritt and Iva at home. He is also survived by these brothers and sisters: William Miller, Salem, O.; Edward, Inwood, Va.; Ulysses, Meyersdale; Mrs. Malinda Bender, Springs; Mrs. Cora Shoemaker, Scottdale; Miss Annie L. Miller, Springs; and by one grandchild. The funeral was conducted Tuesday evening at 8:30 at the family home by Rev. William R. Johnston, and interment was made Wednesday morning at Round Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home, Elizabeth, Pa. Meyersdale Republican, March 18, 1943
