  MILLER
  
  Clyde R. Miller, 86, of New Brighton, died Nov. 23, 2002, in the
  Providence Health Care Center, Beaver Falls.  Born March 23, 1916 in
  Somerset County, son of the late Pierce and Annie (Baker) Miller. 
  Preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Zimmerman) Miller, Dec. 2,
  2000, and brothers Ross, Luther and Earl Miller.  Survived by son,
  Thomas C., Griffith, Ind.; daughter Ann, married to Leon Metzger,
  Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Sara and Elliott Miller and Mitchell
  Metzger of Detroit, Mich.; also many nieces and nephews.  Veteran of
  World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.  He began his teaching career
  in 1936 in a one-room school in Somerset County.  Retired in 1982 from
  New Brighton area schools after serving as elementary administrator
  for 31 years.  Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday in the J&J Spratt
  Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton.  Funeral service at 11
  a.m. Tuesday in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10th Ave.,
  New Brighton, Rev. Robert J. Hartman officiating.  Private interment
  in Casebeer Lutheran Cemetery, Somerset.
