"Andy" Miller, 78, of Clearshade Drive, Windber, formerly of Belmont, died Jan. 4, 2001 at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown. Born Sept. 26, 1922 in Middlecreek Township. Son of the late William Edward and Victoria (Dunmeyer) Miller. Preceded in death by step-son Abie and brother Earl Miller. Survived by wife of 54 years Leona (Walker) Miller, daughter Linda, married to Jeffrey Pugh and son Alan W. Miller, both of Clearshade Drive, Windber; grandchildren Wendy, married to David Fisher of Southmont, Rodney Campbell, married to Rhonda Rhoades of Windber, and Amy, married to Edward Keller of Windber; great-grandchildren, Aubrianna, David, Sarah and Lindy Fisher; and step-grandchildren Susan and Jeffrey Pugh. Brother of Bernice Moore, Wilbur D. Miller and Robert L. Miller, all of Somerset. He was a member of the Moxham Church of the Brethren where he served as a Deacon. He was a four-year infantryman serving in General Patton's 3rd Army in the European Theatre in World War II. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Co. in Johnstown with 37 years of service in the Rod and Wire Mill. Member of the Donegal American Legion and the F.O.E. # 1801 in Somerset. He was an avid hunter. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Johnstown and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, the Rev.
