  Miller
  
  Daniel J. Miller, 83, of Springs died Sept. 25, 2001 at Beverly
  Healthcare, Meyersdale.  Born Feb. 18, 1918 in Middlefield, Ohio, he
  was a son of the late Jonas and Katherine (Miller) Miller.  He was
  also preceded in death by a son, Harvey J. Miller; a daughter, Anna
  Miller Orendorf; a grandson, Darrell Orendorf; five brothers and a
  sister.  He is survived by: His wife of 59 years, Mary J. (Yoder)
  Miller; a son Joseph Miller and wife, Joyce, Accident, Md.; four
  daughters, Edith, wife of James Yoder, Grantsville, Md.; Mabel Pugh,
  Mansfield, Ohio; Katie, wife of Byard Beitzel, Accident, Md.;
  Maryetta, wife of Robert Kauffman, New Holland; two sisters, Mary
  Kauffman, Georgia, and Katie Miller, Virginia; 22 grandchildren; 31
  great-grandchildren; two step-grandsons, and four
  step-great-grandchildren.  Mr. Miller was a member of Dry Run
  Mennonite Church and was a farmer.  He also was employed at Yoder's
  Locker Plant and Goodwill Mennonite Home.  Friends will be received
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179
  Miller St., Grantsville, Md.  Service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.
  Saturday at Dry Run Mennonite Church with the Rev. Sanford Bender
  officiating.  Interment will be in Dry Run Cemetery.  Expressions of
  sympathy may be directed to Dry Run Church Building Fund.
