  MILLER
  
  Dwight Dale Miller, 88, of Somerset, died April 1, 2002 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 29, 1913 in Summit Mills, the son of Irvin
  Abraham and Bertha May (Miller) Miller.  Preceded in death by parents,
  stepfather Paul Warner, wife, Marian Viola (Ross) Sarver-Miller in
  1984, stepson Lloyd Sarver, one great-grandson, Jacob Barta, one
  sister Patricia Meyers, and two brothers Earl E. "Pud" Miller and
  Samuel Miller. Survived by son: Mrs. Dale P. Miller, married to the
  former Sandra K. Ross of Somerset; stepdaughter Mrs. Dale (Vee-Ann)
  Knupp of Somerset; two grandchildren; Mr. Dallas Miller, married to
  the former Heather Hottle of Camp Lejeune, N. C., and Mrs. Frank
  (Tonya Miller) Barta of Shanksville; 10 step-grandchildren and three
  great-grandsons: Elias Miller, Andrew and Aaron Barta.  Brother of
  Mrs. Leota S. Myers of York.  Member of Somerset Church of the
  Brethren, U.S. Army Air Corps.  Veteran of World War II where he
  served as Staff Sgt. Retired in 1979 with 12 years of service as a
  carpenter of Somerset Door and Column.  Life member of VFW Post 554,
  and American Legion Post 445 of Berlin.  Friends received 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m.  Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset,
  where service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Mark
  S. Bendes officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
