Miller, 69, 2351 Breckenridge Court, Harrisonburg, Va., died July 3, 2003 as the result of injuries in an accident. Born Aug. 27, 1933 at Grantsville, Md., the son of Ralph E. and Ida (Yoder) Miller of Springs. On July 8, 1955 he was united in marriage to the former Martha Mishler who survives. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three daughters, Zonda Himes, Manchester, Karen Brandes, State College, and Sandra Brenneman, Salisbury; one son, Byron Miller, Grantsville, Md.; one brother, Stanley Miller, Bristol, Ind.; three sisters, Jane Benson, Grantsville, Md., Lois Hepler, Springs, and Linda Mullennex, Bluefield, Va.; and five grandchildren. Employed as a parts manager near Springs, a resident director for Eastern Mennonite High School and as a Lawn and Garden associate at Lowe's of Harrisonburg. A graduate of Eastern Mennonite Seminary in 1988. For 24 years, he was the pastor of Meadow Mountain Mennonite Church, Swanton, Md., and served as field worker in Christian ministry for four years for the Highland Association in Grantsville, Md. Throughout his lifetime, Mr. Miller was a member of Springs Mennonite Church, Meadow Mountain Mennonite Church, and Lindale Mennonite Church as well as Habitat for Humanity International. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Springs Mennonite Church, where a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
