Mrs. Miller was born in Corrigansville, Md., and had lived in Akron since 1935. She had served as a dispatcher in Akron for Johnny's Towing Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1970. A member of Zion Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by husband, Glenn, in 1991; brothers Herman and Louis Ruttig, sister Helen Streich. Survived by daughter Shelly Ruttig of Akron, brother and sister-in-law Albert and Florence Ruttig of Cuyagoha Falls; sisters-in-law Myrtle Ruttig of Akron and Harriet Miller of Freehold, N.J., also many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Stampfle Funeral Home, Akron. Further service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Glen Savage, Pastor John Jenista, officiating. Interment, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. and after noon on Monday at the church. Family requests donations be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Akron.
