Miller, a well known businessman of Berlin, died very suddenly at his home early Sunday morning. He was born 65 years ago on the Miller farm adjoining town, a son of William and Samantha Fritz Miller. Mr. Miller had a very cordial disposition and numbered his friends by the hundreds. He was engaged in wholesale confectionery and tobacco business for many years. He was elected a member of the Berlin school board at the election on November 2. He had served previously as a member of the board. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the I.O.O.F. Lodge of Berlin. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora McLuckie Miller; a son Harold Miller; two brothers, Allen and Leroy, and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Burkhart and Mrs. Belle Glessner all of Berlin. Funeral services were conducted at the Johnson Funeral Home, Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30, by Rev. Robert S. Nagle, followed by interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
