  Elam D. Miller, 90, of Meyersdale died Sept. 9, 2003, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born July 4, 1913 in Springs.  A son of the late
  Noah E. and Hannah M. (Durr) Miller.  Also preceded in death by his
  wife, Rita (Bolden) Miller, Nov. 7, 1992; and two brothers: Chester
  Emerson Miller, and Orden Miller.  Survived by five sons: Douglas E.
  Miller, and his wife Carolyn, Norcross, Ga.; Regis B. Miller, and his
  wife Ann, Madison, Wis.; Nicholas E. Miller, and his wife Sandra,
  Longview, Texas; Eric C. Miller, and his wife Kay, Lexington, K.Y.,
  and Gregory O. Miller, and his wife Rose, Pittsburgh.  Also 12
  grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  A brother of: Alvina
  Livengood, Springs, and Kathryn Singer, York.  A member of SS. Philip
  and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale.  Fourth degree member Knights
  of Columbus Council 9297.  Veteran U.S. Coast Guard WW II.  He was
  founder and owner of the former Roof Garden Egg Co. in Meyersdale and
  was known as "The Egg Man."  No viewing or visitation.  Funeral Mass
  will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at SS. Philip and James Cemetery,
  Meyersdale.  A reception for family and friends will follow at the
  church hall.

    Elam D. Miller, 90, of Meyersdale, died Tuesday, September 9, 2003,
  at Meyersdale Medical Center.
    Born July 4, 1913, in Springs, he was a son of the late Noah E. and
  Hannah M. (Durr) Miller.
    He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rita (Bolden) Miller,
  November 7, 1992; two brothers: Chester Emerson Miller and Orden
  Miller.
    He is survived by five sons: Douglas E. Miller and his wife
  Carolyn, Norcross, Ga.; Regis B. Miller and his wife Ann, Madison,
  Wis.; Nicholas E. Miller and his wife Sandra, Longview, Texas; Eric
  C. Miller and his wife Kay, Lexington, Ky.; and Gregory O. Miller and
  his wife Rose, Pittsburgh; also 12 grandchildren and eight
  great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of: Alvina Livengood, Springs,
  and Kathryn Singer, York.
    He was a member of SS. Philip & James Catholic Church, Meyersdale;
  4th degree member Knights of Columbus Council 9297; veteran U.S.

    Funeral Mass was 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, at SS. Philip &
  James Catholic Church with the Rev. James M. Dugan celebrant. 
  Committal followed at SS. Philip & James Cemetery, Meyersdale.
    A reception for family and friends was held at the church hall.
    Arrangements by the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
