Miller, 86, 8232 Fox Hunt Ct., Frederick, Md., died March 16, 1999, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick. Born July 20, 1912, in Milford Township, Somerset County, a daughter of the late William G. and Nettie Myers Miller. Mrs. Miller was a retired LPN and was employed at Somerset State Hospital and Somerset Community Hospital. She was also employed at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She was a graduate of the York, Pa., School of Business. She was a lifelong Brethren and a member of the Thurmont Church of the Brethren in Thurmont, Md. and was also a member of the Thurmont Senior Citizens. She was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Topol Sherwin and husband, John of Frederick and two great-grandsons, Bobby and Michael Sherwin. She was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Audrey M. and Bob Topol; one sister, Mae Ripple; one brother, Jay Miller; a half-sister, Violet Barron and three half brothers, Earl, Ernest and Harry Miller. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Thurmont Funeral Home of Robert E. Dailey & Son, 615 E. Main St. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at the Thurmont Church of the Brethren, 14 North Altamont Ave., Thurmont, Md., with Pastor Linda Lambert and Joanne Gaver officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Thurmont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Thurmont Church of the Brethren, 14 N.
