She was born July 21, 1905 in Bittinger, Md., the daughter of the late Eli and Barbara (Bender) Lohr. She was a retired sales clerk at Woullard's Jewelry Store in Meyersdale. She was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren and the Springs Historical Society. Her husband, Ernest D. Miller, died June 9, 1958. Survivors include one son, Mark T. Miller, West Redding, Conn.; two daughters, Shirley A. Livengood, Tippecanoe, Ind.; and Kathleen Wengerd, with whom she resided; one brother Charles Lohr, Pittsburgh; one sister Mabel Campbell, Garden City, Mich; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. where services were conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Springs Mennonite Church by the Rev. Daniel Whitacre.
