Miller, 90, 611 Main St., Berlin, died Dec. 26, 1984, at Richmond, Va. Born April 17, 1894, in Rockwell, N.C., the daughter of John W. and Lenora (York) Peeler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert L., who died in 1977; and son, Statler, who died in 1976; one sister and one brother. Survived by daughters: Mrs. Earl (Barbara) Croner, Berlin; and Mrs. Rachael Ann Bain, Richmond, Va.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was a sister of: Mrs. Mabel Kluttz, Rockwell, N.C.; and Egbert Peeler, Winter Park, Fla. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ and active in the women's fellowship of church; member of Forbes Road Chapter DAR, Somerset County Artists' Association, charter member and past-president of Pius Spring Woman's Club. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society or Trinity United Church of Christ organ fund would be appreciated.
