  EUGENE MILLER
  
    Eugene W. Miller, 68, of Troy, Mich., died Aug. 11, 1997, in
  Greensburg.
    Born June 3, 1929, he was the son of the late Edith Wagner Miller
  Tedrow and John W. Miller.
    Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Lois Ann (Koontz) Miller,
  formerly of Meyersdale; two sons: Rodney P. of Pontiac, Mich.; and
  Lane E. and wife, Julie, of Lake Charles, La.; and one daughter,
  Heidi S. Shelton of Capac, Mich.  He is also survived by three
  grandsons: Jason and Charles Shelton and Benjamin Miller.  He is also
  survived by a brother, Harold H. Miller and wife, Sophia, of Sebring,
  Fla; a sister, Delores Overly and husband, Eber, and a sister-in-law,
  Jean Miller of Mt. Pleasant; also numerous nieces and nephews. 
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Reid Miller, and a sister,
  Theda Queer.
    Mr. Miller was a retired 38-year employee of K-Mart Corp., and a
  six-year volunteer at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy, Mich.  He was
  an active member of the Big Beaver United Methodist Church in Troy.
    Services were conducted at Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, on
  Aug. 13.  Interment, Mt. Joy Cemetery, Donegal.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart
  Association or the Big Beaver United Methodist Church, John R Road,
  Troy, MI 48098.
