Miller, 89, Champion, died May 31, 2004, in the Bethlen Home, Ligonier. She was Born April 24, 1915, in Jones Mills a daughter of the late Lloyd C. and Ruby Tinkey Hostetler. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Oscar M. Miller in 1974 and three brothers, Kenneth, Frank Willard and Denny Hostetler and four sisters, Orpha Geary, Arlene Stull, Isabel Hostetler and Jean Woy. She is survived by one son, Martin L. Miller and his wife Jean, Champion, Abbey Baronie and her husband Vic, Indian Head, Jared Miller, Champion and one great-grandchild, Zachary Hunter Miller. Mrs. Miller was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Miller was a resident of the Jones Mills and Champion areas all of her life. She formerly was employed by the Pike Run Country Club for many years. She was also a longtime member of the County Line Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Barry Conn officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Saltlick Township.
