Miller, 83, Hollsopple, formerly of Krissay Street, Johnstown, died May 11, 2004, at Windber Medical Center. Born Aug. 12, 1920, in Bedford County, daughter of Jacob and Cora (Imler) Stevens. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Robert L. who died Sept. 7, 1922. Survived by these children, Carol E. Davis, Meyersdale, David L. married to the former Mildred Alwine, Hollsopple and Lauren D. Johnstown; eight grandchildren: Wendy, wife of Michael Swick, Meyersdale, Beth, wife of David Jeffries, Somerset, James Davis, Meyersdale, Kenneth Miller married to the former Valerie King, Commerce Township, Mich., Suzanne, wife of the Rev. David Ealy, Mount Morris, Jonathan Miller, married to the former Rebecca, Johnson, California, Md., Matthew Tanner, Johnstown and Ashley, wife of Daniel Geist, South Bend, Ind.; four great-grandchildren: Kendall and Bryia Swick, Meyersdale and Shannon and Ethan Jeffries, Somerset and brothers and sisters, Blair, married to the former Arlene Clapper, Davidsville, Owen, married to the former Marian Keim, Hollsopple, Harry, married to the former Helen Mortimer, Minnesota, Thelma, widow of Glenn Hostetler, Hollsopple, Ray, married to the former Ruth Lehman, Hollsopple, Joseph, married to the former Verna Gindlesberger, Davidsville and Jacob J., married to the former Catherene Weimer, Elgin, Ill. She was a member of Arbutus Church of the Brethren where she assisted with the preschool program and also assisted with custodial duties. She was an avid bowler at Richland Lanes and enjoyed making rugs. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc., Davidsville. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Arbutus Church of the Brethren, where remains will lie in state from 10 a.m. until time of service. The Rev. Barron Deffenbaugh officiating.
