  Florence M. Miller, 79, of 319 Somerset Ave., Jerome, died Oct. 25,
  1993 at Windber Hospital.  Born Jan. 19, 1914, in Paint Township,
  daughter of the late Josiah and Amanda (Manges) Holsopple.  Preceded
  in death by husband, Virgil G., in 1962, and several brothers and
  sisters.  Survived by these children: Orin, of Jerome; Emmet Paul,
  married to the former Dolly Stiffey, Friedens; Emery, married to the
  former Barbara Miller of Bedford; Virgil, married to the former Daisy
  Butler, and Erma Snow, both of Spencer, Mass., and Alice J. of
  Jerome.  Sister of Seward J., married to the former Kathleen Naugle
  of Hooversville RD 1; also 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren
  and one great-great-grandchild.  A member of St. Thomas Lutheran
  Church, the auxiliary to the Jerome Fire Company and Hollsopple
  Senior Citizens.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Dalla Valle
  Funeral Home, Windber.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Friday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gerald Myers
  officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
