FLOYD MILLER

Grantsville, Maryland

  Friends here received word Tuesday night that Floyd Miller, aged 38, had died 
at a hospital in Richmond, Va., about 1 o'clock Monday afternoon.  No details 
would be learned.  His sisters, Mrs. Scott Holliday, the former Mary Miller, and 
Mrs. Arthur Shirer, Somerfield, Pa., left for Richmond immediately upon receipt 
of the message.
  Mr. Miller was born at Grantsville and spent his early life here.  He was a 
son of the late Joel H. and Amanda Diehl Miller.  He moved to Virginia some 
years ago where he has since resided.  Besides his sisters, he is survived by 
his wife and one child, and two brothers, Luther Miller, Washington, and Asa 
Miller, whose address is unknown.  Mr. Miller was a nephew of Floyd C. Diehl of 
Grantsville.
