Miller, 74, of Cumberland, Md., formerly of Fairhope, died Monday, Dec. 18, 1989, at his home in Cumberland. Born in Fairhope on Dec. 6, 1915, he was the son of the late Charles D. and Rebecca (Deneen) Miller. A retired laborer for the former B&O Railroad. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Loretta (Sirbaugh) Miller, who died on March 17, 1989. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by a stepson, James A. Grimm, Clearfield; a stepdaughter, J. Marie Grimm, Cumberland, Md.; three brothers: Charles "Boots" Miller, Fairhope; Grover Miller, Berlin, and Bud Miller, Fairhope; a sister, Mrs. Ella Hall, Cumberland; four step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Md. Funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Floyd C.
