He was born in Howesville, W.Va., and was a son of the late Ira Miller and Tillie (Emerick) Miller. He was a retired automobile mechanic. He is survived by his widow, Blanche B. (Sapp) Miller; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Jackson, McCoole, Md.; one brother, William Miller, Morgantown, W.Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Clara McGinnis and Mrs. Edith Salisbury, both of Morgantown, and Mrs. Gertrude Snyder and Mrs. Velma Laughry, both of Rowlesburg, W. Va.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Rotruck Funeral Home, Keyser, W. Va. Services were conducted in the funeral home by the Rev. G. Frank Plybon. Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorials take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. The Republic, October 30, 1980 [M1637]
