Born Aug. 5, 1917, in Berlin, son of the late Jacob J. and Ida F. (Lambert) Miller. Also preceded in death by one sister, Marian Weigle. Survived by his wife, Pauline M. "Polly" Boyer; a daughter, Carolyn M. Hemminger, Somerset; and a son, Barry L. Miller, Plant City, Fla.; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Brother of Guy, Karl, and Jay all of Berlin; Ann Rayman, and Marguerite Lauer, both of Somerset; Lucille Maust, Hampton, Va.; Leah Cecil, Canton, Ohio; Evelyn Vitangeli, Massillon, Ohio; Marlene Hochard, Ravenna, Ohio. Veteran of Word War II, served in U.S. Navy. Resided in Venice since 1958 and operated and owned Candlelite Motel, Venice. Life member of American Legion. Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Walter L. Startzel officiating.
