    Hattie D. Miller, 86, Cumberland Highway, Meyersdale RD 4, died
  Oct. 29, 1997, at Somerset Hospital.  Born April 6, 1911, in
  Shinnston, W.Va., daughter of Walter Addison and Nancy (Copper)
  Foy.  Preceded in death by parents; first husband, George Walter
  Stott, and second husband, John Andrew Miller; infant daughter, Helen
  Elizabeth Stott, great-grandson, Vincent Allen Stott; brothers: James,
  Walter "Dutch", Albert "Buck" and Charlie Foy, and sister, Blanche
  Kurtz.  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Evelyn) Bittner, with whom
  she resided, and son, Joseph A. Miller, Berlin; grandchildren: Mrs.
  Floyd (Betty Lou) Patton, Meyersdale; Mrs. Frank (Jodie) Reed,
  Central City, and Joseph A. Miller Jr., Somerset; 6
  great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  Family will
  receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, with Rev.
  Sherman Berkey officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
