  HAZEL M. MILLER
  
  Hazel M. Miller, 92, Somerset, passed on Jan. 13, 2004, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 11, 1911, in Milford Township, she is the
  daughter of the late Frank J. and Minnie (Younkin) Barkman.  She is
  preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell in 1975, brother
  Orlo Barkman, sister Arlene Thomas, and cousin Naomi Knepper.  She is
  survived by her daughters Janet, married to Frank Saylor of Sterling,
  Va., Audrey, married to Charles Will of Hershey, and Nancy, married to
  Donald Snavely of Roaring Spring, eight grandchildren, and eight
  great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Alverda
  Whipkey of Somerset.  She was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran
  Church in New Centerville, and was involved in various activities
  through the church and community, particularly enjoying quilting and
  crocheting.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.  A service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church.  Pastor Will Osman officiating.
  Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park.  There will be a one hour
  visitation prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be sent
  to Messiah Lutheran Church at 134 Bridge St., Rockwood, Pa. 15557.
