  MILLER
  
  Herbert B. Miller, 76, of Mud Pike Road, Rockwood, passed on Aug. 26,
  2001 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec. 16, 1924 in Meyersdale, son of
  the late Harry and Minnie (Harding) Miller.  Preceded in death by
  parents, son Jack, grandson Jack Jr., and brother Ray Harding. 
  Survived by wife of 55 years Lillian (Baer) Miller; daughter Janet,
  married to Gerald King, and son John, married to Carol (Shumaker)
  Miller, both of Rockwood; grandchildren Grace, Tina and Melissa; and
  5 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sisters Bernice Engle of
  Chargrin Falls, Ohio, and Betty Baer and Hazel Bittner, both of
  Meyersdale.  He was a retired employee of Agway Co. in Somerset and
  was a member of Union Local 23 of the United Food and Commercial
  workers in Pittsburgh.  He was a member of the US Navy in World War
  II and the American Legion Post 279 in Rockwood.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home,
  Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday.  Rev.
  Dennis Fetter officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
