Born Aug. 9, 1921, in Salisbury, the daughter of Charles F. and Annie (Lee) Krause. Preceded in death by parents and infant daughter; brothers: Ernest, Harry and Floyd Elton Krause. Survived by husband, Richard O., son Daniel L., married to Carolyn (Miller) of Alum Bank; daughter Susan K., wife of Larry Pearce of Boswell RD 1; grandchildren: Tate Miller, Wendy (Miller) Cable, Annie and Matthew Pearce; great-granddaughters: Alyssa, Abby and Andrea Cable. Sister of Clyde, married to Jean (Trostle), of Baltimore, Md.; Olive, wife of Herbert Adams, of Spring Hill, Fla.; Ralph, of Texas and Lawrence, of Johnstown. Member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the ladies sewing group. Also a member of the Seventh Society of Farm Women and the Boswell Firemen's Auxiliary. Observed 55th wedding anniversary Aug. 27, 1997. She worked various jobs and enjoyed volunteering throughout the community. She also enjoyed gardening, oil painting and crafts. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Jennerstown United Methodist Church, the Rev. John R. Guerre officiating. Interment, St. James Cemetery, Jenner Township.
