MILLER Word was received in Somerset and Meyersdale, Sunday morning, of the sudden death of Horace Greely Miller, at his home in Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Miller was aged 76 years. He was the oldest of the 12 children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel S. Miller, of Somerset. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, and the following named brothers and sisters: Wallace and Marling Miller of Uniontown; John O. Miller, of Pittsburgh; Harry Miller, of Burlington, Vt.; Grant Miller, of Waterloo, Ia.; Jacob D. Miller, of Hollywood, Cal.; Mrs. Bertha Kelso, Mrs. Norman T. Boose, Mrs. Emily Lambert and Mrs. Annie Weimer, all of Somerset. One brother, Joseph, of Tempe, Arizona, died several years ago. Horace G. Miller was a school teacher in Somerset Township for several years during his young manhood. When still quite a young man he went to St. Joseph, Missouri, where he engaged in the grain brokerage business, later locating in Kansas City, and continuing in the same line of business. Nearly his entire business career was devoted to the buying and selling of grain, at which he prospered. Like the many other members of his family he was a man of high intelligence and had a genial personality which made him many friends. Meyersdale Republican, March 12, 1931
