MILLER September 27, 1906 - January 29, 2004 Ida E. Miller, 97, of Springs, died Thursday, January 29, 2004, at Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale. Born September 27, 1906 in Grantsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Edward M. and Anna (Beachy) Yoder. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by one son, Rev. Edgar Miller; two grandsons; one great-grandchild and 11 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her husband, Ralph E. Miller; one son, Stanley Miller, Bristol, Ind.; three daughters: Jane Benson, Grantsville, Md.; Lois Hepler, Springs; Linda Mullennex, Bluefield, Va.; two brothers: Henry Yoder, Goshen, Ind.; and Edwin Yoder, Salisbury; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a member of the Springs Mennonite Church where she was a member of the Daughters of Dorcas Sewing Circle. She also volunteered at Goodwill Mennonite Home for over 15 years. Friends were received Saturday, at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville. Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, at the Springs Mennonite Church, with Rev. Steven Heatwole officiating. Interment was in the Springs Cemetery.
