Miller, president of the Miller Cereal Mills, died Thursday afternoon, March 20, at her home, 5602 Farnam Street, Omaha, Neb. She had been bedfast three years, owing to paralysis. Born on a farm near Ashland, O., she was married to Mr. Miller February 10, 1887, at Parsons, Kans. Immediately after their marriage they located in Nebraska and lived in that state ever since. They resided in Gage County until 1910, then in Lincoln until moving to Omaha in 1917. Survivors, besides her husband, are two sons, Eugene A. and Max A. Miller, both of Omaha; a daughter, Mrs. Henry T. Johnson of Redlands, Cal.; four sisters, Miss Annie and Miss Mary Arnold of Parsons, Kansas; Mrs. Will Van Meter of Parsons, Mrs. Will Potts of Independence, Kans.; two brothers, Richard Arnold of Ely, Nev., and George Arnold of Beatrice, Neb.; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Unitarian Church of Omaha. Funeral services were held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Burket Chapel. Burial was made in the family mausoleum at Forest Lawn cemetery. Mrs. Miller was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Arnold. Her father was a native of Mineral County, W.Va., and one of the founders of Ashland College, Ashland, Ohio. Her mother, a Flickinger, was a sister of the late Samuel S. Flickinger and Mrs. Jacob W. Peck, and was born in Elk Lick Township, Somerset County, Pa., on the farm now owned by Bird Bros. and operated by them as one of the world's best known poultry farms. Mr. Miller, a native of Meyersdale and grandson of the late Daniel Beachley, established the largest corn mills in the world in Omaha; also a large cereal flake factory, operated in conjunction with his corn mills. He has retired and the Miller mills are now operated by his sons, Eugene and Max Miller. Meyersdale Republican, April 3, 1941
