Miller, 78, Grantsville, Md., died Friday, July 28, 1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born May 7, 1911, in Grantsville, Md., he was the son of the late Jonas B. and Barbara (Swartzentruber) Miller. The Rev. Miller was ordained a conservative Mennonite minister in 1938 and designated a bishop in 1953. He served as pastor of the Maple Glen Conservative Mennonite Church for a number of years and had charge of the Casselman River Conservative Mennonite churches. The Rev. Miller also was owner and operator of the Casselman Restaurant and Motel and Casselman Ventures with his wife. He was an authority on local history and frequently spoke to area organizations. Surviving are his widow, Della (Bender) Miller; four sons: David I. Miller, Irwin, Ohio; Philip I. Miller, Jarrettsville; Timothy I. Miller and Stephen I. Miller, both of Grantsville, Md.; six daughters: Mrs. Esther M. Yoder and Joanna Miller, both of Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Rachel Yoder, Bronx, N.Y.; Mrs. Miriam Maust, Accident, Md.; Mrs. Ruth Yoder, Flint, Mich.; and Mrs. Dorcas Lehman, Leola; three sisters: Mrs. Edna Maust, Catherine J. Miller and Mrs. Rhoda Maust, all of Grantsville, Md.; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where services were conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Maple Glen Conservative Mennonite Church by the Rev. Ivan J.
