Miller, J. D.

  Councilman J. D. Miller and manager of J. C. McSpadden's department store, of 
Rockwood, died very suddenly on Friday afternoon about 2 p. m. in his office, 
from a severe attack of neuralgia of the heart. Mr. Miller had apparently been 
in good health, although he was subject to attacks of this character years ago, 
it was thought that the cause had been removed from his system. Mr. Miller has 
hosts of friends in Rockwood and surrounding vicinity who are grieved to here of 
his demise. Mr. Miller was 74 years and 8 months of age, and is survived by his 
widow and five children, besides four brothers and two sisters. The funeral was 
held at the Miller home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment at the 
New Centerville Cemetery, Rev. D. S. Kurtz, officiating.
