  MILLER
  
  J. Statler Miller, 49, of Rockwell, N.C. died August 15, 1976 in N.C.
  Baptist Hospital.  Born September 4, 1926 in Berlin.  Son of Robert L.
  and Ethel (Peller) Miller.  Survived by his parents, his wife the
  former Nancy Hinner and four daughters: Mikell, Allison, Ronnie, and
  Cidy, all at home.  Also by two sisters: Mrs. Earl D. Croner, Berlin;
  and Mrs. Rachel Bain, Richmond, Va.  Member of the Ursinus United
  Church of Christ; World War II veteran; trustee of Catawba College,
  Salisbury, N.C.; and secretary-treasurer of the Rockwell Casket
  Company.  Grave-side services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in
  the Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may
  be given to the American Cancer Fund.
