Miller, 49, of 20 Dearborn Road, Apt. 2, Northfield, N.H., died suddenly at his home Nov. 18. He was born in Meyersdale Feb. 21, 1947, the son of Herbert and Lillian (Baer) Miller. He moved from Ohio to Northfield in 1975. He was a brick mason by trade and was later employed as a foreman with the former International Packing Company in Northfield. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW Post 1698 in Franklin. He was a 1965 graduate of Rockwood High School. He was preceded in death by a son, Jack B. Miller Jr. of Rockwood. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his former wife, Susan (Durand) Miller of Northfield; four stepsons, Ted Dickson, Tom Dickson and Tony Dickson, all of Ohio, and Todd "T.J." Dickson of Northfield; a stepdaughter, Patricia Bowes of Ohio; seven step-grandchildren; a brother, John Miller of Rockwood; a sister, Janet King of Rockwood; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Nov. 21, at the William F. Smart Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road, Tilton. The Rev. Ralph Maxwell, pastor of the Lochmere Baptist Church, officiated. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tilton-Northfield Rescue Squad, in care of Lt. Debbie Coleman, 8 Morrison Avenue, Tilton, N.H., 03276.
