Street, N.E., Washington, D.C., Dec. 26, 1940. He was a son of Dr. J. E. and Elizabeth B. Miller, and brother of Lois V., J. Mark and Mary E. Miller. The surviving parents formerly resided in Salisbury, Pa., where some of their children were born. Doctor Miller, who is a chiropractor and natureopath, practiced those professions in Salisbury for some years, and will also be remembered by many former patrons of his still residing in Garrett County, Md., Salisbury, Meyersdale, Pa., and their vicinities, as the man who erected, equipped and conducted a small sanitarium in Salisbury for some years. The following data concerning his son's funeral was sent to the writer of Salisbury Siftings for publication in The Republican: Funeral from the Chambers Funeral Home, 517 11th Street, S.E., Sunday, Dec. 29th, at 2:00 p.m. Thence to Calvery Gospel Church 19th and H. Streets, N.W., where services were held at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Columbia Garden Cemetery, Virginia. Two uncles of the deceased, Samuel D. Beachy of Garrett County, Md., and Joel D. Beachy, residing near Springs, Pa., attended the funeral, and returned home Monday, the former reporting the funeral largely attended, and that five cars were in the funeral procession.
