Miller, 38, West Race Street, Somerset, died Jan. 13, 1985, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Nov. 29, 1946, in Somerset, son of the late Norman H. and Nellie (Brant) Miller. Survived by his wife, Joan Gunderson, and these children: Jackie, Jimmy and John, all at home; also survived by brother, Jack C., Somerset; maternal grandparents: Judd and Alida (Baker) Brant, Somerset RD 8. He was a great-nephew of Agnes Deeter, Berlin; nephew of: James W. Brant, York; Sydney Brant, Somerset RD 8; Dorothy Deeter, Bellaire, Ohio; Chester Miller, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Charles Carney, Pittsburgh; and Mrs. Vella Bockes, Berlin. He was a graduate of Somerset Area Schools Class of 1964; attended Point Park College, Pittsburgh; and University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He was formerly employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and presently employed by the V and E Engineering Company, Baltimore, Md. Served in the U.S. Marines. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral home, where service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev.
