(Pletcher) 09/24/07 Daily American Janet A. (Pletcher) Miller, 62, Chardon, Ohio, formerly of Scullton, passed on Sept. 21, 2007, at University Hospital, Cleveland. Born April 7, 1945, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, she is the daughter of the late Lloyd Pletcher and Lottie (King) Pletcher, Somerset. She is also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Addison Stancak. She is survived by her mother; husband, Russell "Russ" Miller, whom she married Jan. 30, 1971; daughters, Michele Louis and husband, Chris, Auburn Township, Ohio; and Courtney Stancak and husband, Gene, Broadview Heights, Ohio; son, Ryan Miller and wife, Jennifer, Parkman, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brett, and Matthew Louis, Dilyn and Gene James Stancak IV, and Ryan Lloyd Miller; brother, Ralph Pletcher and wife, Sharon, Scullton; niece, Jodi Brougher and husband, Donald, Somerset; and nephew, Russ Pletcher and wife, Sarah, Scullton. Mrs. Miller was a 1963 graduate of Rockwood Area High School before moving to Ohio. She was a homemaker who volunteered at the Patient Information Desk at UHHS Geauga Medical Center. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved to go to car cruise-ins with her husband. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and faithful wife for 36 years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Scullton. The Rev. Denton Lester and the Rev. Thomas Zimmerman officiating. Interment at the Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery.
