Born June 13, 1932 in Carbon Westmoreland County, a daughter of Lloyd Oscar and Daisy Belle (Blaine) Barron. Preceded in death by parents; brother Harry K. Barron; and grandson David Yoder. Survived by husband, Donald Arthur Gardner "Boots" Miller to whom she was married 47 years; stepmother, Mrs. Ruth "Peg" (Yoder) Shaffer Barron, Somerset; and these children: Mrs. Wayne E. (Lois) Yoder, Boswell; Mrs. Jeffery D. (Melinda Jo "Linnie") Will, Somerset; Donald K. Miller, married to the former Debra Swank, Somerset; Lloyd R. Miller, married to the former Susan Dice, Somerset; 10 grandchildren. Also survived by stepbrother, James E. Shaffer, Lewisburg; sister-in-law Mrs. Emma Barron, Lavansville; aunt, Mrs. Betty Blaine, Connellsville; niece, Mrs. Allen (Diane) Sarver, Lavansville; nephews, Kenneth and Bryan Barron, Lavansville; cousins, Mrs. Edward R. (Evelyn Pyle) Boord, Carmichaels; Donald Blaine and wife Jennifer, Connellsville; Mrs. Carol Rimel, Scottdale. Attended St. John's United Methodist Church. Member of Appalachian Wagon Train Association for 29 years, Wheelers and Dealers Square Dance Club and Tri County Horse and Wagon Association. Friends will be received 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, with the Rev. Barry K. Ritenour officiating.
