  MILLER
  
    Jay A. Miller, 70, of Berlin, died Sept. 11, 2002 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 29, 1932 in Stonycreek Township, he is the son
  of Richard A. and Viola (Baughman) Miller.  Preceded in death by his
  parents and a son Richard.  He is survived by his wife, Marie (Boyer)
  Miller.  They would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary Oct
  27, 2002.  Also survived by children, Donald L. married to the former
  Judith Weimer, Meyersdale, Linda K. married to Thomas Baker, Berlin;
  grandchildren, Marci Miller married to Robert Snyder, Laurie married
  to David Kretchman, Thomas Baker Jr. and fiancee Shelly Nestor, Tina
  Baker, Justin Miller and fiancee Missy Adams and Nathan Miller;
  great-grandchildren, Olivia and Devon Kretchman; sister, Rachel
  Lauer, Somerset; and daughter-in-law Amy married to Rick Lynch.  He
  was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church and the Hillcrest
  Grange.  He was a retired carpenter, and enjoyed woodworking as a
  hobby.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 2
  p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Gene J. Abel officiating.  Committal will
  be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
