  JAY L. MILLER
  
    Jay L. Miller, 68, of Garrett, died Dec. 30, 1978 in Somerset
  Community Hospital. 
    Born in Meyersdale, April 4, 1911, he was a son of the late Jacob
  and Sarah (Hoffman) Miller.  He was a veteran of World War II. 
    Surviving are, his widow, Mrs. Velma (Werner) Miller, four sons,
  Ronald Miller, Rockwood, Joseph Miller RD 4, Berlin; Robert Miller
  and Gerald Miller, both of Beaver; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Ringler
  and Mrs. Marilyn Weigle, both of Garrett; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Austin,
  Meyersdale; 16 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home where services were
  conducted Tuesday a 2 p.m.  Interment in Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
