Miller, 79, of Grantsville RD 2, Maryland, died August 31, 1984, at her residence after a lingering illness. Born March 15, 1905 in Jennings, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Butler and Rebecca (Glotfelty) Butler. She was a member of the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, the Ladies Aid, and Camp 41, Woodmen of the World Auxiliary, Grantsville, Md. She is survived by her husband, Loy W. Miller; two sons: Luther L. Miller, Ellicott City; Marvin L. Miller, Grantsville, Md.; two daughters: Mrs. Margie Hetrick, Mount Airy, Md.; Mrs. Vadne Henline, Silver Spring, Md.; two sisters: Miss Leona Butler, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Nellie Morgan, Grantsville, Md.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren with the Rev. James Show officiating.
