Born March 16, 1925 in Springs, he was a son of the late Hubert E. and Gertrude (Poleman) Miller. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a self-employed lumberman. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Louise (Harris) Miller; a son Douglas Miller of Salisbury; three daughters, Kathi Romesburg, Newark, Del., Rochelle McKenzie, Salisbury, and Janice Snider, Paden City, W.Va.; two brothers, Max Miller, Salisbury and Lee Miller, Springs; two sisters, Ardith Murray, Salisbury, and Wilma Robertson, Meyersdale, and 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md., where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev.
