  MILLER
  
  John L. Miller, Sr., 68, of N. Rosina Ave., Somerset, died July 7,
  1979 at his residence.  Born June 25, 1911 in Stonycreek Township, a
  son of the late Joel and Eve (Gloss) Miller.  Preceded in death by
  first wife, Anna L. Hoffman, two brothers and one sister.  Survived
  by wife, Daisy Merringer Ross and these children: Ronald L., Akron,
  Ohio; Judith, wife of John Chronowski, Quecreek; John L. Jr.,
  Somerset; and these step-children: Sandra, wife of Dale Miller; and
  Penny, wife of Samuel Yoder, both of Somerset; and Blair Edward Ross,
  Somerset RD 7; also 10 grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Elmira Giles,
  Somerset; Mary, wife of James Auman, and Norman, both of Somerset RD
  2.  Member of Faith Lutheran Church, past president of Will's
  Cemetery Association, past treasurer of Faith Lutheran Church and a
  garage foreman at Saylor Motor Company for 37 years.  Friends
  received today in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Services at 11
  a.m. Tuesday in the Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Charles
  Hartbaurer officiating.  Interment, Will's Lutheran Cemetery.  Body
  will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until service
  time.
