  MILLER
  
  John T. Miller, 88, West Church Street, Somerset, died May 7, 1988 at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 31, 1900, in Jefferson
  Township, son of the late Jonathan and Clara (Hemminger) Miller. 
  Preceded in death by wife, the former Hallie Beckner in 1982, an
  infant son, James, and sisters, Nellie Williams and Ada Bell. 
  Survived by nieces: Donna Ley Dunmeyer, Berlin RD 4; Ruth Alexios,
  Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Evelyn Vahalik, Amsterdam, Ohio; Betty Duffy,
  Huntingdon Beach, Calif.; and nephew Frank Williams, Lewisberry,
  Pa.  Also several other nieces and nephews.  Sisters-in-law, Ola
  Beckner McKlveen, Ligonier and Rebecca and Goldie Beckner, both of
  Somerset.  Retired employee of REC Somerset.  Also a coal worker and
  farmer.  Associated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance
  Church, Somerset.  Friends were received from 1-9 p.m. Sunday at the
  Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted
  Monday at 11 a.m.  Rev. Carl Ellenberger officiating.  Interment,
  Bakersville Cemetery.
