  Joseph Dean Miller, 61, Rockwood, died Nov. 12, 1987, at St. Francis
  Medical Center, Pittsburgh.  Born March 5, 1926, in Rockwood, son of
  the late George and Carrie (Miller) Miller.  Survived by wife,
  Loretta (Mayhugh) Miller of Rockwood; three daughters: Marcia of
  Sterling, Va.; Cathy Rossetti, wife of Mario, Phoenix, Ariz.; and
  Janis Pitt, wife of Henry, of Lake Ridge, Va.; one brother, George
  Miller of Rockwood RD 2; one sister, Mrs. Lois Kunkel, Irwin; two
  grandsons, Mario and Dean Rossetti.  Death terminates a marriage
  union of 40 years.  Preceded in death by brother, Ray.  Veteran of
  World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy.  Member of the Rockwood
  American Legion Post 279 and Christ United Methodist Church,
  Rockwood.  Employed as district manager of Ameri-Gas of Somerset for
  33 years.  Graduate of Rockwood Area High School, Class of 1944. 
  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, Friday from 7-9 p.m. and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday where
  services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with his pastor, the Rev.
  Rex Wasser officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  In
  lieu of floral rememberances [sic], family requests memorial
  donations to the American Heart Association or St. Francis Medical
  Center Cardiac Unit.  Arrangements under the direction of the William
  J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
