Born Oct. 11, 1931 in Elk Lick Township, he was the son of the late Hubert and Gertrude (Poleman) Miller. He was also preceded in death by one brother, John Miller and one infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife, Esther P. (O'Donnell) Miller; one son, Glenn E. Miller and wife, Tammy, Springs; two daughters, Debra Bittner, Grantsville, Md., Cheryl Lohr and husband, Vernon, Friedens; one brother, Max Miller, Salisbury; two sisters, Ardith Murray, Salisbury, Wilma Robertson, Meyersdale; and seven grandchildren, Christopher Bittner and wife Stephanie, Frederick, Md., Courtney Bittner, Miami, Fla., Jessi Lohr and Mitchell Lohr, Friedens, Carrie Sines and husband, Riley, Salisbury, Wendy Miller and Jennifer Miller, Springs. Mr. Miller was a self-employed saw miller. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. Friends were received Monday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason Dixon Highway, Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Dr. Philip Sorenson officiating.
