  MILLER
  
    Lena S. (Spurgeon) Miller, 97, of Markleysburg RD 1, died July 20,
  1995, in the Uniontown Hospital.  She was born Dec. 31, 1897, in
  Glade Farms, W.Va., a daughter of the late Judson and Mary (Frazee)
  Spurgeon.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank N. Miller;
  four brothers, William, Charles, Judson and Stanley, and two sisters,
  Mildred Brodhead and Gladys Evans.  She is survived by one sister,
  Elsie Spurgeon of Confluence and numerous nieces and nephews.  She
  was a teacher at Pt. Marion and Uniontown Area School District for 44
  years, member of Retired Teachers Association, charter member of MHCT
  Fire Department Ladies auxiliary, and a 50-year member of the Grace
  Methodist Church.  Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral
  Home in Confluence from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday (today), and from 10 a.m.
  to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the hour of service, with the Rev. David Lee
  officiating.  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
