  LEOLA M. MILLER
  
    Leola M. (Chapman) Miller, 77, of National Highway, LaVale, Md.,
  died June 22, 1988, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  
    Born July 13, 1910, in Shaft, she was the daughter of the late John
  A. and Catherine E. (Trapp) Chapman.  Her husband, Edward F. Miller,
  died in November 1987.
    She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Sodality
  of the church.
    Survivors include two brothers: George T. Chapman and Francis W.
  Chapman, both of Cumberland, Md.; three sisters: Margaret Fisher,
  Salisbury; Elizabeth Miller and Bernadette Chorpenning, both of
  Cumberland, Md.; and a number of nephews and nieces.  
    Friends were received in the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia
  Avenue, Cumberland, Md.  
    Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. in St.
  Patrick's Catholic Church.
    Interment, SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
