    Leora Jane Miller, 84, of Frostburg, Md., formerly of Berlin, died
  Feb. 23, 1994, at Frostburg Village Nursing Home.  Born March 3,
  1909, in Somerset, daughter of Ross and Edith (Ringler) Pugh. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, John G., and brother, Eugene
  W. Pugh.  Survived by niece, Kathryn Brown of Berlin; great-niece,
  Rebecca Brown of Frostburg, Md., and close friend, Charles Heiple of
  Berlin.  Graduate of Somerset High School and California State Normal
  School.  Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, and the
  Women's Guild and Women's Fellowship.  Also a member of Wills Grange
  1690, and Somerset County Pomona Grange 39 and the Pa. State
  Grange.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where Grange service will be held at 8
  p.m. Friday and funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the
  Rev. Carl W. Schwarm and the Rev. Melvin A. Kirk officiating. 
  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to Trinity
  UCC, Berlin, or Frostburg Village Nursing Home.
