Miller, 65, Hickory Hill, Somerset, died May 7, 1984, at Walterboro, S.C. Born April 15, 1919, in White Deer, Texas, daughter of late Orville and Alma (Priest) Thornburg. Preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Troy. Survived by husband, Charles M.; two children: Dennis, Somerset RD 6; and Mrs. Lester (Denise) Letterman, Shippensburg, Pa.; three grandchildren: Angela, Stephanie and Jennifer. Sister of: Mrs. Juanita Sutherland, Milltown, N.J.; Mrs. Violet Stanford, Mrs. Ernestine Williams, Leroy and Orville Jr., all of Texas. Member of First Christian Church, Wimodausis Rebekah Lodge No. 217, Trinity Chapter No. 138 Order of Eastern Star, and County, State and National Education associations. Business education teacher at Somerset Area Schools. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Paul Weber officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
