She was born in Meyersdale, and was the daughter of the late Abraham and Lydia (Kretchman) Hay. Her husband, Clarence E. Miller also preceded her in death. She was formerly associated with Clinebell's Bakery. She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, a member of McKinley Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and a past matron of the chapter; a member of the Past Patrons and Past Matrons Association, and a member of the Senior Citizens. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edna G. Murphy, Cumberland, Md.; and Mrs. B. Elaine Welsh, Somerset; a sister, Mrs. Leora Klink, Rockwood; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev. Warren G. Beeman officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
